BLB&G Partner Ed Timlin to Serve as Panelist at the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School Spring Corporate Roundtable Event

On May 3, 2024, BLB&G partner Ed Timlin will serve as a panelist at the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School’s Spring Corporate Roundtable event.

Presented by the University's Institue for Law & Economics, this event will bring faculty members together with practicing attorneys and public policymakers to discuss current issues emerging from the Institute's research and teaching.

Ed will engage in a panel titled “Controlling Shareholders and the Future of Delaware Corporate Law.” He will discuss recent developments in Delaware controlling shareholder law, including Tornetta v. Musk and In re Match Group, Inc. The panel will feature an esteemed group of professionals, including John DiTomo (Morris, Nichols, Arsht & Tunnell LLP), Kristopher Knight (Delaware Department of State), Amy Simmerman (Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati), Eric Talley (Columbia Law School), and Gail Weinstein (Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP).

Ed practices out of the firm’s New York office, where he prosecutes corporate governance, securities fraud, and other shareholder rights litigation. He has been a senior member of the trial teams prosecuting a number of the firm’s most significant litigations, obtaining hundreds of millions of dollars in recoveries on behalf of the firm's clients. In recognition of his accomplishments, Ed was named to Benchmark Litigation's "40 and Under List" for three consecutive years and is regularly included in Lawdragon's lists of the nation's leading lawyers.
